Hi. apa khabar?

Welcome to my blog. I hope you'll find something that you can relate to. Who knows, there could be other souls out there who think a little too much and feel a little too deeply, just like me.

Sahara Desert

This post was originally supposed to be whiney and I was going to tell you all just how much I loathe insomnia but miraculously enough, I haven't had trouble sleeping since last Friday. *touch wood* I've also been sleeping in Ferouz's room for the past few days instead of mine.

Her room is absolutely boiling and my goodness—the moment I wake up in the morning—my throat is so dry and prickly since Fey likes to put her heater on full blast.

On top of that, her duvet is like 10inches because she decided one layer isn't enough, no sir, and settled for TWO. She even sleeps hugging a hot water bottle every night. Trust me, her room's like the Sahara.

My room's the opposite. It can be -4°C outside but please believe my window will be open and the heater switched off. I purposely bought the thinnest duvet on the planet because that's how I like it. Now that I think about it, I'm still surprised I haven't died in my sleep from hypothermia.

Back to Fey's desert climate bedroom — it has all the conditions that'd in theory worsen my insomnia but it's somehow helping my sleeplessness... hot temperatures... who knew! My friend Oprah (yes, her name's Oprah) concluded it may be that my body's missing Malaysia's unbearably humid conditions.

Does that even sound logical? I'm going to continue sleeping in her room for a few more days and see how things pan out. It's actually nice not having to sleep on my own. Back home, I'm so used to sleeping either next to my baby sis, baby bro, mother or cat. HAHA.

I'd HATE to move out of my parents'. Staying all on my own?! I'd need at least two cats to fill the void of living alone.
