I'm back home in Malaysia!! Bye bye England. I arrived very late on the night before Eid. Honestly, it feels good to see my babies (younger siblings) again. I wasn't precisely homesick to begin with but I was getting sick of all the things I had to do prior to moving out. The packing. The cleaning. The shipping.
I was SO sick of it all that it motivated me to get out of England asap. And I love England but it doesn't help that my bestest friends (aka my housemates) were out of the country. Sure, I had Mimi (my housemate's cat) to accompany me plus my very lovely neighbour, but still, I kind of needed to be around familiar faces.
First of all, I had no idea I had so much crap in such a tiny bedroom. And I'm such an eco-freak, I couldn't help but go 'Ooh, I can't throw this away. This can be recycled!' I took extra time separating recyclables from the non-recyclables and even such a simple task as that stressed me out. I'm just such a perfectionist; everything has to be done right.
I also had to fast while doing all those things and a lot of times I was a walking zombie. I've been quite busy since I've been back - with open houses and what not. I actually have quite a few blog posts that were meant to be published before Ramadan ended but as usual, my schedule prevented me from working on my blog and my draft folders started overflowing.
SUCH IS LIFE. TA FOR NOW!
