So here's a fact about me:
I'm a night owl.
If everyone is asleep, chances are, I’m still wide awake either attempting to sleep or doing something that people would usually do in the day time. I only realised just how bad it was when my English friends were texting ME that they were heading to sleep while I was still struggling to sleep.
I like the idea of sleeping early, though. ‘Early to bed, early to rise’ they say. And I honestly DO try to sleep early but I’m always buzzing at night. I’ve already cut down on caffeine by at least 80%!
And here’s the problem when I DO sleep early. When I say early, I really mean before 2am. I’ll wake up before 5am! Take now for example, it’s 10 to 8 and I’ve been awake since 4.30am after having slept at 12.30am. Err…
Maybe sleeping early isn’t for everyone?
