Hi. apa khabar?

Welcome to my blog. I hope you'll find something that you can relate to. Who knows, there could be other souls out there who think a little too much and feel a little too deeply, just like me.

Dear Diary Pt 2

When I write, I write truly and sincerely from the heart and soul. Some people may not understand this perhaps because what they write about require more of the intellect than the heart and soul. Either way, I make an effort to give what I love doing, my all.

I love writing letters to people as well but have you ever tried writing a message to yourself? I've made it a tradition to write an introductory message on the very first page of my diaries.
And as a means to get me to write in my diary religiously, I write a message to myself on the very last page of my diary. Here's the catch: I'm only allowed to read it after finishing my diary. I always forget that I've written something at the back so when I'm finally on my last page, the message always comes as a pleasant surprise.
Writing to yourself is pretty interesting because when you're reading what you wrote in the future, you're reading something a very different 'you' have written. We're not the same people we were a year ago. Heck, sometimes all it takes is one event to turn you into a completely changed person.

I usually write positive and reassuring messages on the last pages of my diaries so when I read it I'm often relieved that a chapter of my life has ended and look forward to the next one.

I think it's important to have things to look forward to in your life no matter how small it is. For example, I look forward to having tea with my best friend every week. I don't think it's something I can ever be bored with.

On a separate note, I love Smythson diaries. I buy their notebooks instead and turn them into diaries; their notebooks have witty sayings on them. They're also customisable! They're expensive but they'll never fall apart.
