This is how I look like every morning when I get up for work. 

How you kick start your mornings has a huge influence on how you feel for the rest of the day. Most mornings, as much as I'd like to say I wake up feeling and looking fresh—I DON'T. In fact, even with 8 hours of sleep I find myself not wanting to get out of bed. My bed is an industrial strength magnet for someone like me. If you're a girl, makeup can easily hide any signs of tiredness but makeup isn't going to make you feel any livelier. There are so many easy things you can do in the morning to keep yourself feeling chirpy all day. In no particular order, here are 3 things that I do every morning:

Make a hot drink

I never leave the house in the morning without having a hot drink and I've a few more when I'm in the office. First thing I do when I wake up is drink warm water; it wakes me up plus hydrates my body. There's something about having something warm in my tummy that makes me feel nice and calm. Another thing which actually helps if you usually wake up groggy is to not sleep in cold temperatures. I switch off my aircon overnight and leave the fan on instead, but it all depends how warm it gets.

If you don't find yourself laughing hysterically as you're scrolling down 9gag's page then you must be blind or insane. 9gag is absolutely hilarious and laughter is potent. Laughter has been proven to reduce the levels of stress hormones in your body so honestly, one of the easiest things you can do to have a good day is to have a good laugh!

SWEAT!

Ok fine, I don't work out EVERY morning. Ever since I started working, exercising for more than 2 hours has become a bit of a myth. My sister recommended blogilates to me and so far, I really enjoy her 5-10 minute routines. They're quick and by the time you're done, you can hardly breathe. I find that exercising in the morning gives me that motivation to seize the day.

I KNOW how it's like to feel tired and demotivated, you tend to become quite unproductive. Moaning and whining isn't going to get you anywhere so whenever you're feeling just a little bit uninspired, do something that puts you in a better mood. Life's too short; success doesn't come to people who don't make an effort to solve their problems. Feeling uninspired IS a problem—in life, you can't stop at your tracks for too long. You can slow down a little but by all means, keep going. You can do this!
